Derek Uman
As founder and President of Clear Capture Investigations, Inc (CCI), Derek Uman brings years of investigative experience and expertise to the company.
Mr. Uman began his career as a private investigator in 1998 and has been involved in over 15,000 investigations ranging from insurance fraud investigations to federal drug crimes. Through hands on experience, he has developed an acute understanding of all areas of the investigative process. Mr. Uman services the needs of insurance, legal, corporate, and private communities while providing leadership, responsiveness, innovation, and superior value to those communities.
Mr. Uman oversees all operations for Clear Capture Investigations, strategic planning, training, and information flow. Furthermore, he is responsible for maintaining CCI’s high level of standards in order to produce the best possible product for company clients. Derek Uman has saved millions of dollars for CCI's clients by the way of the industry's most consistent, dependable, and professional product. Mr. Uman received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Florida. He is also actively involved in various special investigative organizations focusing on fighting insurance fraud. Mr. Uman is a native of Gainesville, FL where he still resides with his wife and two children.
